Enjoying his chicken bone
Here he is playing on his back on my hand
Kukuba is a blackwing jardine, which I aquired from a petshop at 4 months old.He is now 6 years old.
I love both my parrots to bits. Both being from the poisephalus family their diet is more or less the same.
Kukuba loves to play hide and seek behind my bathtowl and thus I do not have problems with him being wraped in a towel. He is also no fusser where food is concerned , but will climb up my trouser leg or skirt if it is long enough for him to reach, and thus does not liked to be kept from sharing my food.I developed a way of manouvering the food that he could eat by putting it in a souser to him-self. He does not get fooled to long though.!
He is not a niosey bird, thus I am lucky that I have not had complaints from my neighbours.
He says things like.
Mommy;s baby be good now, mommy is comming back, mommy is going to work.
Or shop, or churh, depends on what bag or purse I am taking.
They have learned to associate where I am going , just by that. Very clever,!
