Go ahead and LOL, just not where he knows you're laughing at HIM as birds are very sensitive to being laughed at kind of like cats.

What you saw was the mating dance where the males get very stiff and straight and walk back and forth on the perch while bobbing heads and/or spreading their tail feathers apart. All this is to show the female (fire truck) how drop dead gorgeous he is!!! You'll see this more and more as time goes on, and it never gets boring because they put so much energy into it everytime.
