Lifespan of green cheeked conures
by: Tracie

Green Cheeked Conures have an average lifespan of 15 years, but many live 25 years or more. It all depends on the health of the parents, the health of the bird, what you feed the bird, the living environment etc.

If you feed your birds a healthy pellet diet, like Harrison's or Roudybush and take them for well checkups at the avian vet then your bird has a much better chance at a long life.

By the way, our avian vet says to NOT feed ZuPreem or Lefeber, they have too much sugar and chemicals for the birds.
