light pink and slightly swollen eye rings

Hi, when i went to check on my green cheek conure and my jenday this morning I realized my Jenday's eye rings were slightly swollen on the bottom and were also a light pink. The green cheek is fine and completely normal. They live in seperate cages. What's wrong with the Jenday???

You will have to take your bird in to be examined by an Avian Vet to be able to know what this is. It can be many things like something in the eye that is irritating it, an infection or injury to the eye, so taking him to the Avian Vet is your only recourse.

If you have any problems finding an Avian Vet, there is a link on this site to help with that.

Find an Avian Vet

Take birds to AVIAN VETS ONLY as dog and cat vets are not licensed or trained in the diagnosis or treatment of birds and will either do nothing or do all the wrong things and make bird much worse.

Thanks for writing and let us know what Avian Vet has to say about bird's eye.
