Fly larvae (Maggots)do not feed on living tissue.

These could be maggots which are fly larvae or they could be some other kind of parasite.

Call an Avian Vet (bird vet) in your area and describe them to them and see what they say. Find an Avian Vet Hopefully, they are not on your birds because maggots will eat their flesh and kill them. Check both birds out very carefully by moving the feathers in the wrong direction very gently and see if you see any raw places on their skin.

Clean their cages at least once a day until this is handled. If they are on your birds, both have to be examined and treated by an Avian Vet ONLY.
