live food for parrots?

Are crickets and meal worms or any other live food a good thing for parrots?

It is not a normal treat offered to parrots. I think that you should feed something else. I know that a couple of my parrots will eat bugs if they can get them, but I do not feed them intentionally. Feed your bird a pellet diet, like Harrison's or Roudybush, with treats like fresh fruits and vegetables and other nutritious treats.
