Lorikeet preening and screeching

For a couple of days now whenever my 3 year old rainbow lorikeet preens himself he often pauses and screeches as well. He seems fine overall, but I can't help and wonder if the screeching is cause for alarm? It's not a particular part of his body, he just randomly screeches while preening. I'm worried he may have a bug of some sort, but I've had lorikeets in the past and none have ever had any problems.

Should I be worried?
