Yes I agree, he does need to go to the vet so Ive made an appointment. As for the lump, I do not believe it grew over night because now its been 5 days and there is no change but he will be getting it examined so thanx to all who have replied.

Any abnormal growth needs to be checked out by a vet. Birds do get cancer or it could be an abcess. I'm sure there are other things that could cause this but it would still require a vet visit.

im not a expert at birds but you should quickly ruch the bird t oa vet. any minor thing over night can be a deadly thing
