Repairing a hole in a beak
by: The Avian Vet

I would not be able to recommend a specific treatment unless I can examine the bird. I usually will use acrylics and other materials to repair damaged beaks. Many things must be considered when repairing beaks, especially the possibility that the sinuses may be damaged from the injury. One must also consider why the beak has a whole when determining treatment options. You need to have your bird examined by an avian veterinarian.

You don't treat this kind of problem. Your bird has to be examined and a treatment plan worked out with an Avian Vet. This is a very dangerous situation, and your bird needs to have been seen already for the split beak. Run, don't walk to the nearest Avian Vet in your area. If you have to drive a ways to get to one, then do so. When you have birds, you also have to have an Avian Vet because birds do get sick or injured, and you cannot treat these. dog and cat vets are not licensed or trained to diagnose or treat birds, so do not even bother as your bird's life depends on taking him to a licensed and trained Avian Vet.
