i have a 38 yr old cocatoo that was fine yesturday went tog et her out of cage today and she has no control of her legs and wings but looks bright in her eyes and is holding herself up with her beck

28 year old cockatiel

Hi, I have a 28 year old cockatiel. She just started sqawking quite often and I noticed the feather on the back of wings are very straggly looking. I just noticed today she was laying on the bottom of her cage. She is able to get back on the perch with no problem. Do you think she should go to the vet or could it be the beginning of the end stages for her?
