 Bird losing chest feathers

It is hard to say if your bird has a disease or is plucking itself or both. When something is bothering the bird internally, they sometimes pick at the area to get to the discomfort or pain.

Please Find an Avian Vet to examine your bird to make sure there is nothing internally wrong with your bird.

Please read our Feather Damaging Behavior article written by an avian vet for more information on feather plucking problems.
