Loss of movement in legs
by: Patti Stalma

How old is your bird and what kind of diet does it eat? It could have arthritis which can be very serious to deal with, I know this first hand as my beloved Amazon has it. You must go to an Avian expert- there are only 20 in the U.S.. This has to be treated if it is arthritis as your bird will lose its' ability to stand and hold onto a perch. If you are not feeding Harrison's pellets you need to start right now.It is of utmost importance as a poor diet can severely diminish the lifetime of your bird. If you are not fortunate enough to live near an Avian Specialist go to the best Avian Vet you can afford as your birds future will depend on it.Good luck to you and your bird.

Find an Avian Vet today
by: Tracie

Your bird needs to be taken to an avian vet today. If you don't already have an avian vet, you can look for one on our Find an Avian Vet page.

Please do not delay, and let us know what the vet tells you.
