love bird losing feathers

My love bird who is 2 yrs old all of the sudden started losing his feathers. What could be wrong?

If your bird is losing feathers, but you can not see bald spots, then it is likely molting. You will see feathers all over the floor, but not see any bald spots on the bird.

If your bird has bald spots or "down" feathers showing, then take your bird to an avian vet soon.
