lovebird lower beak has fallen off

My lovebird Aoki was pulling at her lower beak for the last few days, and split the appendage in two and now the lower beak has fallen off!

Will the beak grow back? Or is this indicative of a more serious condition?

She shares a cage with a male, and they have mated several times but the eggs, have remained unhatched.

In addition, she is also the aggressor in the relationship.

What should I do?

Lovebird with beak missing

First you need to separate them. Second you need to get to an avian veterinarian immediately! Female lovebirds are always the aggressor. This is normal behavior for them. In my opinion, you should not breed them. We have plenty of birds out there that need homes.
