lump in baby lorikeet neck

My 4 week old baby lorikeet (being handreared) has developed a lump in lower left side of neck. Still feeding but not as much per meal. Is this normal or is there something I should be doing??

You have to take your bird to an Avian Vet ONLY in your area. If it means driving a ways, then you still have to do it. Your baby will die because the lump could be a tumor or some kind of infection. Hopefully you are feeding high quality baby parrot handfeeding formula at the correct temperature using a syringe. Feeding with spoons causes gas to form in the crop taking up space for food.

Have your bird checked out by an Avian Vet to see if there are any infections present or if this is a growth.

Let us know what Avian Vet has to say and do not wait any longer to get your bird the medical services he needs or he will die.
