Lump on cheek

My 11 year old conure has developed a lump on the right side of his face, behind the beak and under the eye. He looks like he does when he's excited and his little feathers stand up and he's excited to see me, but unfortunately, he just has that lump. I picked him up and felt the lump with my fingertips and it feels spongy/soft/liquiet. What should I do. Please advise. Thanks
