Lump on the back of my canaries head

Hi, My female canary has a lump on the back of her head, she has had most of the feathers pulled out by the male canary.

what do you think it could be?

I think it is an infection caused by her being molested by male. First, separate the two into two cages, then take her to an Avian Vet to have lump diagnosed as to what kind of infection and treated accordingly.

I cannot imagine why you have left her in there while this male is literally beating her up all the time. Separate them and keep them that way.
