Lutino Ring neck parakeet lost her voice

I have a lutino ring neck parakeet about 4 or 5 years old that suddenly seems to have lost her voice. The bird has always had a high pitched rapid squalking (which is annoying) and squalks a lot when I leave the room. Today she seems like she has lost her voice sound seems forced and much quieter. The bird is eating as usual and doesn't seem to have any symptoms. Still active and when I take her out she still flys to her favorite counter in my kitchen. She just sounds a little hoarse. Is this anything to worry about? Is it an indication of an illness. Can a bird lose her voice from squalking too much? thanks for the feedback
