As you have cut the beak and it is now bleeding, your bird is now in constant pain. NEVER cut it yourself. An avian vet needs to do that for you, as it can be done safely an spare your bird the constant needless pain.

Next time, please get a proper trained specialist, especially if there is an injury

He should have been taken to an avian vet due to injury and then the vet could have cut the beak if necessary or repaired it.

Also, you need to think about how the bird because injured and rectify any dangers.

GET THE BIRD TO AN AVIAN VET ASAP. Birds do not have a lot of blood, so die from small amounts of blood loss, and the vet can administer and prescribe any pain medication.

Please do not ever cut on a bird's beak for any reason. Birds can bleed out from the beak and all trimming has to be done by a licensed and trained Avian Vet ONLY.

It would be a good idea to take your bird into be examined by an Avian Vet right away because this may start bleeding again especially if your bird has another injury. Beaks don't just get like this, usually the bird has to have fell and hit something, so if he does it again, he may bleed out and die.

In future, for any beak trimming or shaping, take your bird to only an avian vet because they are the only ones trained in caring for birds.

Let us know what the avian vet said amd what they did to fix this.
