four colors

Color is detected by receptors on the back of the eyes, some detect the amount of light some detect color, in humans there are red, yellow and blue receptors, birds have red, yellow, blue, and ultraviolet sensors. They see more colors than we do, this is part of how they identify each other, by the ultraviolet patterns that they can see, but we can't, so while we think all quakers look almost identical, they have no trouble telling each other apart.
