I got a yellow sided conure just one week ago. One of his legs is crippled. He can use it for holding on to the bars in the cage sometimes, but for the most part, it is a little challenging for him to get around. He was hand raised. I try to improvise in his cage, making it easier for him. I don't know why, but sometimes he gets nippy, sometimes pretty hard, and then again, sometimes he is the most loveable bird you would ever want. I wondered if anyone out there could tell me how to break him of his really hard nipping. He comes to me, sits with me, rubs his head on my hand, and lets me feed him too. Am I doing something wrong?
