thank you for all your help! i do believe that is just what she/he is now i can pass along helpful information to my mother in law as for caring and nutrition.. she/he is still very un-trusting of hands near and refuses to come out now that she/he is in a larger cage. when she was given to my mother in law she came from an elderly man who kept her in a cage to small and spent most of her life covered by a blanket she doesn't hand feed well as she lunges and try's to nip but we just keep offering hoping to gain her trust. i'm hoping in time she will learn that we are here for her. and trust us.. i'm worried that she is afraid to go back into a smaller cage and that is why she will not come out.. we have a white fronted amazon as well and when he is out she is very curious as to our playing with him and after a few weeks she has started to let us touch her ( when she wants) i'm hoping as she see's how we treat the other birds she will want to be a part as well.. again thank you for all your help!!
