Muscovy drakes feathers shabby and worn

Hi. My Muscovy drake's tail and wing feathers look worn and shabby. The soft parts are missing from the feathers and only central shafts remain on the tail and the ends of the wings. He seems otherwise healthy and the feathers of the rest of his body look ok. I don't know his age. His two girlfriends are sleek and look very good.
