my 4 month alexandrine female has just started biting my ears

she bites my ears a lot and when I go to get her off my shoulder she bites my fingers. She's never done it before. And another thing she is very quite. She's been here for 2 months, I thought she had settled in. what can I do?

She's showing aggression. I don't know why. I keep her busy in her cage while im away. I supply a variety of fruits and macaw nuts.

Bird biting ears

Some birds are just not trustworthy enough to keep on shoulders. As a baby, it may have been content to sit there, but now it is growing up and you are going to have to work at gently training it the behavior you prefer.

Please read the articles on our Parrot Training page for more information on training your bird a replacement behavior than the ones you don't like.
