So sorry :(
by: Anonymous

I am so sorry about your pet. We once had a quaker parrot also. He was about 4 years old. He acted fine - talking up a storm and acting normal - one evening before we went to bed. The next morning he was dead on the bottom of the cage. He never acted sick at all. I read that birds, as a defense mechanism, will camouflage their illness if possible because in the wild if they act weak they can be prey for other animals. We have another bird now and take him for regular check ups to an avian vet.

Quaker parrot died suddenly
by: Tracie

Hello Neena,

I am sorry for your loss. There is no way anyone can tell you what happened. I know it is too late now, but if someone wants to know why their bird died they take it to the vet and they run tests to try and determine what happened.
