My bird is clicking her beak and shaking.

My bird is recently clicking her beak a lot. She is eight years old and has never done this before. She also has her feathers ruffled and shakes. Sometimes she makes whimpering noises and she seems to have trouble eating (I hear clicking when she is eating.) What's going on? Should I take her to a vet?

New Parakeet, Fluffed Feathers
by: Anonymous

hi i just got a parakeet yesterday, and i was wodering if it was normal to have fluffed festhers, plus my older brother wont stop scaring her, even when i tell him to stop.

Editor's note: If you want people to see and answer, you need to post a question, not an answer here to another question, at Parrot Questions . Usually a fluffed up bird is a sick bird, so please Find an Avian Vet to examine your bird.
