My budgie is sleeping too much

I've been watching my budgie lately, he's about 6 years old now and he's been a little puffed up and eating lots, then sleeping throughout the afternoon and awake at night. I've been giving him tiny bits of calphol (baby paracetamol)

Bird sleeping too much

YIKES! Please don't give your birds human medicine, in fact don't even give your bird supplements from pet stores without the advice of your avian vet. (I killed my bird with bird vitamins.) The birds tiny liver and kidneys have to filter out any chemicals you give it.

Please Find an Avian Vet to examine your bird and prescribe the exact treatment for what is wrong.
