my canary broke its leg

Hi, my male canary got his leg stuck yesterday and blood went down i was so worried but my father tried to help by cleaning its leg and now he (prince) is ok but is lifting his leg everytime he walks he is not using that leg anymore but still is moving around although he is not jumping around as he was before.

He is still whistling little and im not sure if his leg is broken but he cannot move it i guess . plz help i really like him and want him to be ok plz...

Until you get to an Avian Vet you must keep your canary on the bottom of the cage with only one very low perch, keeping it's food & water there as well. keep the cage partially covered so that it stays quiet & warm until you get to the Avian vet.
letting it jump from perchs can only add to the probable damage already done

Canary broke leg

You need to Find an Avian Vet to examine and treat your bird. It is likely in a lot of pain and may end up with an infection also.
