How do I make a shelter that wild birds can not get to?

How do I make a shelter that wild birds can not get to?

Editor's note: A shed with a small chicken wire fence several feet around it so that no wild poop can get through to your birds.

My Cockatiel is bleeding from the Leg

Well my Cockatiel was actually in his cage and outside at the time. The crow landed on the cage and scared him. He fell down. I am preety sure when he fell down he hurt his leg. I am still worried about him. There were 3 Cockatiels in the cage at the time. My other bird was bleeding from the toenail. My sister's bird which is also a cockatiel was the only one that didn't injure himself. Both of my birds seem to be okay now, but what else can i do about it.

Editor's note: Move the birds inside or make a shelter that wild birds can not get to.

Cockatiel bleeding

I am sorry this happened! I am not sure how a crow could get near your bird, but hopefully you are aware that wild birds carry disease and your bird could get very ill from contact with wild birds or by walking where wild birds have walked.

Please Find an Avian Vet to examine your bird right away.
