My Cockatiels eyes are going beneath his lower eyelid

A few months ago my cockatiel developed a lump over is right eye. took him to the vets and they ended up cutting above the eye. He is eating and drinking well, but sometimes appears weak. Now i have noticed that his left eye is slowly going down beneath the eyelid. What is causing this. My vets are wonderful but not sure. They think it is a eye infection. I have 2 cockatiels and it is only happening to the male.

Bird with possible conjunctivitis
by: The Avian Vet

This could be an eye infection (conjunctivitis), or stress, or poor nutrition, or trauma, or weakness from systemic illness. I recommend that you take him to an avian specialist.
