His foot may be painful either from handling or from quicking the nail. Take him back to the veterinarian that clipped his nails to be sure your bird is OK.

First of all, your M2 is beautiful!!! Those cockatoos have my heart big time.

Just my opinion, but maybe they cut his nails too short and it feels funny to him. Did he bleed?

Or if so, he could be sore. Hope this helps.
