Colored droppings
by: Tracie

Their droppings reflect what they eat. If you feed your bird colored pellets, they are eating a chemical dye and the chemical dye will come out when they poop.

If you feed your bird strawberries or blueberries you will get the same results, colored droppings. When the bird goes to the bathroom, typically it will be greenish with white mixed in. But it really all depends on what you are feeding him.

It is good you are looking at the droppings though. You will get used to what they look like after different foods and then if they suddenly change, like mostly urates (white) or too dark and dry, then you will know to rush him to an avian vet.

My Conures poop
by: Marcia

What are you feeding your Conures seed or pellets
Fresh fruits and vegetables? Depending on what your
feeding them will account for the poop. I believe the white is the urine if that's what it's called
in birds.
