skidels,is my two year old jenday.iv had him since he left the nest,and we have been best friends since.he also has another best buddy my pomeranen dog.he dosnt like any other animal around my dog,no matter how big it is.he also loves to roll around on my lap to play and get some massage,he pretty much goes where ever we do.he loves rides in the car and being outside with us.he is a joy.

Beautiful bird, my fly away

You have a beautiful bird and thanks for sharing your story. I must warn you, you bird could easily be carried away in a breeze, even if the wings are clipped.

Last year someone wrote me about their bird that had clipped wings that they took out on their boat. A breeze came up unexpectedly and the bird got lift. The bird never made it back to the boat. :-(

You will likely get others telling you the same thing, please don't take offense. People will just be trying to let you know in case you did not realize the danger involved in taking a bird outdoors without a harness or flight suit.
