Yes, as the other writer said, your bird is dying and is in a lot of pain. The only vets who can treat birds are called Avian Vets, and this is where your bird needs to go immediately.

The coldness you feel is called death, and so run not walk to an avian vet immediately. If you have to drive a ways to one, then do that. If you don't plan on finding an avian vet, have no more birds because anyone with birds has to have an avian vet since they are the only vets licensed to treat birds.

For anyone else reading this, when you are thinking of getting a bird, make sure you've already found an avian vet. New birds have to be examined by an avian vet during the first few days we have them. Infections are common with birds under the stress of being moved around and having to make giant adjustments to a new home. This stress opens them up to infections which have to be diagnosed and treated by avian vets only.
