My Lorikeet Is Vomiting White Liquidy Stuff?

Your bird is very sick and must be seen by an Avian Vet in your driving area. ONLY AVIAN VETS CAN TREAT BIRDS, AND YOURS IS GETTING SICKER BY THE MINUTE SO DO NOT DELAY TAKING BIRD TO PROPER VET FOR DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT.

None of us, including our Avian Vet, can tell you anything more as diagnosis cannot be done without seeing patient in person so tests can be done to determine type of infection and proper treatment. We advocate NO OVER THE COUNTER MEDS INCLUDING THOSE FOUND IN PET STORES, AS THESE KILL MORE BIRDS PER YEAR THAN YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT. WE ALSO DO NOT ADVOCATE HOME REMEDIES BECAUSE "How can you treat something if you don't know what is causing it?"

Just make sure you take your bird to an Avian Vet as they are the only people licensed and trained to know how to diagnose and treat your bird.If money is a problem, sometimes they'll work with people on time payments. If you are lucky enough to find one of these Angelic Souls, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PAY THE BILL OFF IN FULL so you can use this service again later. Most vets have had to stop making payment plans for people, because once their bird is well, they do not finish paying the bill. ALWAYS HONOR YOUR WORD AS YOUR BIRD'S VERY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. If it takes you a year to pay it off in full, then that is what it takes.

Thanks for writing,
Linda
