Amazon suggestions

Hello,

The best site you can go for Amazon information in my opinion is Joanie Doss' site. Visit her site at
http://www.parrothouse.com/ . Read every article she has and buy all of her books, she is the best!

I totally disagree that clipping wings makes a parrot more managable or tame.I think you need to learn your parrot's body language and watch the eyes. With time and patience your bird will come around. What training method are you using? Are you showing fear when you are approaching your amazon? If you are reacting when your amazon bites you?All these things can make a difference in the way your parrot reacts to you.Try using treats to win it over.Sit by it's cage sing, talk to it and many things can change.Does it know the basis step up command? If you haven't started or tried any of these things you might want to start there first.
