Hi dear glad to know you bought IRN. Is he a wild
Patrot if yes then Begin taming Right now.
Slowly offer him a pellet or sun flower seed from your
Hand and try to make it fun change the location of your hand around the to see if he follow to grab food. Once you're sure he love to eat from your hand open the door and offer him a wooden perch to perch on must show him the pellet/seed as a treat this will help you taming your IRN.
Wish you all the very best

The first thing you need to do is have her examined by a licensed and trained Avian Vet in your area. All new birds need to be examined during the first few days because all are likely to have infections from stress of being moved around.

Have the avian vet check for both bacterial and viral infections and some basic bloodwork done to see how organs are functioning.

After that, there are some training materials found here about taming and training. Do NO taming or training until bird has been given a clean bill of health by an Avian Vet ONLY.You also need to study about your bird to find out what behaviors are normal and which ones are not. You need to be able to see the first signs of illness, and you need to know what kind of cage, perches, toys and food your bird needs as well. This is up to you, and you are now responsible for your bird's health and well-being.

When we have birds, we also have to have an Avian Vet for them when they are injured or sick, so find one and get your bird examined. Thanks for writing.
