my new parrot is acting strange

its time for my sun conure to go to bed but he is sitting up in the top corner of his cage and its kindof worrying me. He is about 1 year old and we got him around 2:45ish this afternoon

Your bird may be scared for a few days. Hopefully either you or your breeder has already had the bird examined by an avian vet. Any hidden illness my come to the surface due to the stress of moving to a new home.

You can Find an Avian Vet by doing a search at the links at the top of the "find an avian vet" page this links to if one is not already listed on the page.

Take it slow with the bird. Sit by the cage and read, eat, watch TV or whatever. Talk to the bird and allow the bird time to get used to your family and your home.
