well i noticed a patch of red stuff on my green male parakeet (fernando) chest when i went to go tell my mom and she came to see he didnt have blood on him anymore should i take him to the vet

Red on parakeet chest

Since it is not there anymore, I would just keep an eye on the bird. If there are other birds in the cage, pay attention that another bird is not attacking him.

It is possible that the red was not blood, if you have red toys or colored pellets. Some birds chew on colored toys and the dye comes off on their feathers.
