New parrot won't eat

This can be a serious problem. If this is a newly weaned bird, you will need to find a breeder to help you with getting hand feeding formula and teach you how to supplement the pellets with formula. Sometimes newly weaned birds revert back to needing to be hand fed.

If this is an older bird, make sure you have some of the same food your grand dad fed the bird. Measure out a small amount, so that you can check at the end of the day to see if any is missing. Once you have left the room, the bird may eat. If it isn't eating, you need to Find an Avian Vet right away to help you.
