My parrots eyes looks like it has something in them

My parrots eye looks like it has something in them. What is it? We just got a 39 year old female double yellow head amazon parrot. She has what looks like a crumb on her eyes. However one eye has more than the other and she closes that eye often. I looked up cataracts and it does not look like that. Does anyone know what this could be? Is it an eye sickness?

Bird with something in eyes

It could be an infection. Please Find an Avian Vet for your bird. Only an in person examination will answer your question. Don't take your bird to a dog/cat vet, they often do not have the training or experience with birds and accidentally kill them.
