i have recently bought a cockatiel from a good pet shop. the bird is a healthy and happy one, very active......but off late i saw it not standing comfortably.its lifting its feet repeatedly and does not stand calmly for a minute....i suspect its due to some itching on its feet......please suggest me a solution......thankyou.

Cockatiel lifting feet repeatedly

Do you just have plain wood dowels for perches? Those are terrible for bird's feet and should be thrown away.

Provide your bird with natural wood branches, Rope Boings and Perches and possibly even a Polly's Pastel Pedicure Perch at the drinking and feeding station to keep the nails trimmed.

If you have the proper sized perches for your bird, then you need to take your bird to an avian vet to find out what is bothering your bird.

Please use this Find an Avian Vet link to find an avian vet for your bird so it can be examined to determine what is wrong and what the potential treatment might be.
