My Sun Conure is having trouble talking

My Sun Conure appears to be healthy but is suddenly having trouble taking. He no longer makes any loud noises that he was making and can only make soft sounds. What can be wrong?

Bird stopped talking

Your bird may have a bacterial infection. Please Find an Avian Vet to examine your bird right away.

If your bird drinks from a dish instead of a water bottle then install a water bottle right away. Birds often end up with bacterial infections from drinking water that is more than 4 or 5 hours old. Birds get food and poop in the water and bacteria grows rapidly.
