Sun Conure coordination suggestion
by: Rosie M.

I feel very badly for you and your baby. You must be heart broken. My suggestion is that you contact an Avian vet ASAP. Don't waste another moment going to the vet.DO NOT GO TO A CAT/DOG VET.They may claim that they see exotics BELIEVE ME they can be dangerous due to a missed diagnosis. Your baby may have had a stroke or something neurological. See an Avian vet immediately. You and your vet will decide what is best for you and baby. If necessary an injection will be administered and baby will go to sleep. It is very humane! I wish you the best outcome. I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers. Thoughtfully yours,Rosie M.

I read this and it broke my heart. I just wanted to send good wishes to you and your feather baby! I'm so so sorry! This would kill me to have this happen to any of my birds!
Good luck to you and I hope by the time you received these posts there was something you were able to do!

Conure not able to get up
by: Tracie

Oh, I feel for you and the bird! Your bird may have had a stroke, or it breathed or ingested something toxic. You need to Find an Avian Vet to take the bird to right away.

If you get another bird, please read our Switching Birds To Pellets article to help your bird not have the health issues that birds on seed diets have. (Not saying your bird wasn't eating high quality pellets like Harrison's or Roudybush, but just in case it was on an all seed diet or eating colored or other cheap pellets.)
