my sunconure died

i had a 2 yr old sun conure named nunu who died on christmas day. he was totally fine in the morning. all of a sudden, he got quiet then jumped out of his cage, started flapping his wings on one side then stopped breathing and died. i think it was a heart attack but im not sure. Any ideas why you think my bird died?

There are so many things that could have killed your bird, unless you took the bird to a vet for necropsy you will never know.

It could have been a toxic candle, or heating an oven, toaster or iron that has Teflon on it. It could have licked or ingested something in your house, if the bird was allowed to roam your house.

There are just too many possibilities. I am sorry for your loss.
