Nanday Bites Feet

I have a Nanday Conure that bites his feet at times Ive taken him to the doctor to check him our and they told me that it was a skin bug of some sort. but after giving him in medication he still bites his feet and some times it looks like he bite them really hard were Im scard that he may hurt himself. Can anyone tell me why hes still doing this?

This could be a behavior problem, a contact allergy, circulation disease, injury, or several other possibilities. You need to get a second opinion from a specialist. They may want to do a skin biopsy or other diagnostics. They will hopefully get a good history about your bird to rule out environmental causes such as tobacco smoke and other contact allergies.
