nanday conure

I just bought a 3 year old nenday conure, I found out they had a female with him but sold her seperatly so naturally he has pulled all his chest feathers. Is he going to be ok without her? If given enuf attention will he be less stressed enuf for his feathers to grow back? Is he still young enuf to train to do tricks and talk?

Nanday plucking

Please Find an Avian Vet for your bird, before you assume that the bird is plucking because it misses the female. Your bird could be sick or have a disease.

Yes, the bird can be taught to do things, once the bird is confirmed to be well and not stressed out.
