Nanday Conure

I have had my Nanday Conure for 31 years and in the last 3 months her beak has grown too much. Is that normal?

Her front wing feathers are loose and hanging forward too.
Is she ill?

We do not have, that I have found, and Avian Vet in the area.

Nanday conure with long beak

Your bird could have a disease causing the beak to grow like that, or it could be a nutritional issue. If your bird is not eating 80% high quality pellets like Harrison's or Roudybush then nutrition is an issue.

The wings hanging odd is another sign of illness. Only an in person exam with an avian vet, not a dog/cat vet, will give you the answers you need.

Please use this Find an Avian Vet link to find an avian vet for your bird so it can be examined to determine what is wrong and what the potential treatment might be.
