Hiya, I would like to say thank you to the people who took time out to give me advice about my cocktiel (peaco) i am glad to say i took the advice and we have been to the vets tonight, good news there is no infection,or disease it looks as if they have been plucked out by other birds and hopfully they should grow back after malting sadly he did say he is very thin, and has been neglected so he just needs lots of food and loads of T.L.C
Thank you
Lillian,Baby,and the boy himself Peaco.:)

Bird with neck feathers missing
by: Tracie

To correct the owner, the bird was born without any feathers. If the owner never took the bird to an avian vet to make sure it doesn't have a disease, then you may have brought home a disease to your other bird.

You need to Find an Avian Vet to examine the bird to find out why the bird does not have neck feathers. It may have a disease or an infection.
