Need guideance about parrot's leg paralysis

by J.S.Dash

Yesterday morning suddenly my parrot shouts unusually.i rushed to him .i observe that he was in severe pain and unusually he is biting the iron boundry of the cage.then onwards at regular interval of 10-15 minutes it was shouting like before and observing the pain by biting the boundry with a closed eye.

it was not taking its food there after.i fed him few drops of warm milk with a dropper at night.this morning i found his legs are getting paralyse .now at afternoon my parrot is not able to stand on its legs.even not taking any food or opening his eye.i give him few drops of Zincovit(vitamin),and few drops of septran(padiatric antibiotic syrup)by consulting a's age is about 1 year.what will i do to save his life?please advice.

Bird needs an avian vet
by: Tracie

I have an agreement that I do not send questions to Dr. B when the bird obviously needs an avian vet ASAP. Please take your bird to an avian vet ASAP.
